On January 29, 2012, the Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee organization launched a new website to announce the return of the program and the upcoming pageant on April 7, 2012. The website is a WordPress site with a custom theme. The website contains photos and an online application form.

While contestants are showcased in a pageant format, Ms. Wheelchair Tennessee is not a beauty contest. It is a competition, started in 1996, to select the most accomplished and articulate spokeswoman for persons with disabilities across the State of Tennessee.
